Summer is off to a great start, and it's only going to get better with these amazing summer festivals coming to Toronto and Mississauga.

Whatever your interests, there's a festival for you! Here's a few of Compten Management's top picks for summer festivals near you.

Toronto Fringe

July 4 – 15th

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Fringe Festival! Ontario's largest theatre festival will feature over 160 plays across 45 great venues, many of which are minutes from our Toronto apartments. If you want to celebrate the arts, download your program guide and plan your visit. Tickets are just $13 and Kidsfest tickets are only $5.

Salsa on St. Clair

July 7th and 8th

Salsa on St. Clair is your chance to dance in the street! Learn to salsa, watch some incredible performances, enjoy live music, and try some authentic Latin cuisine all along St. Clair Avenue in Toronto. This free event is just 20 minutes from our Cartac and Faywood communities, so come out and join the party!

CPAC Summer Festival

July 7th

This fun summer festival celebrating Chinese cultures is held at Mel Lastman Square in North York, and really does have something for everyone! Try some amazing food, interactive activities, and unique shopping opportunities, then kick back and relax with some captivating live performances. For kids, there's a craft table, family scavenger hunt, and Lego challenges. This free event can be enjoyed just minutes from our Faywood - Vinci communities.

Mississauga Rotary RibFest

July 12 – 15th

Get saucy with some of the area's best ribs! Head to Memorial Park in Mississauga for amazing BBQ ribs, live entertainment, and a carnival. This year, Ribfest is host to over 12 vendors with mouthwatering eats including vegetarian, gluten free, and Halal options. Residents of Elizabeth Tower can walk to the park in under 10 minutes.

Port Credit Buskerfest

August 17 – 19th

Now in its 13th year, Buskerfest is better than ever with three full days of activities, performances, and a great kids zone. Located within Memorial Park in Mississauga, Buskerfest is a short 10 minutes from our Lake Promenade Community.

Whether you want to hang out on the water or enjoy some of the city's best patios, residents at 31 Park Boulevard and 240 Lake Promenande know there's no shortage of things to do every day by the lake, which is practically in their backyard!
