Come celebrate the 24th anniversary of the largest street festival in Canada: Taste of the Danforth!

Head down to Danforth Avenue to enjoy mouth-watering foods from variety of cuisines including Greek, Thai, Indian, Cuban, and more. Tastings are $6 or less making it easy to try them all! The amazing food is just the tip of the iceberg for this festival, here you can participate in some really cool activities throughout the five interactive events.
It's All Greek to Me
Be Greek for the day and smash plates in traditional Greek fashion or join the Greek God of War's fight in the Ares' Nerf Dart Challenge.
Sports Zone
Test your skills as you compete in challenges set by Toronto sports teams the Maple Leafs, Raptors, the Argonauts, and Toronto FC.
Hollywood on the Danforth Presented by 20th Century Fox
Put on your mystery solving caps and solve the Murder Mystery Challenge featuring characters from the movie "Murder on the Orient Express".
Watch as stunt professionals perform a duel from the movie Kingsmen: The Golden Circle.
Kids' Fun Zone
The Toronto Star Kids' Fun Zone will keep the kids entertained with challenges, activities, face painting, and more.
Celebrating Canada & Ontario's 150th
Several stations will be set up for visitors to learn about Canadian history, see unsung heroes, and meet amazing millennials that are creating the technology to help change the world.
"Learn A Little" lets you take a 15-minute dance lesson from cultures around the world.
Live Music
And yet there's more! This year's event will feature amazing performances across three stages! Enjoy live music from a variety of genres including Jazz, Pop, Rock, and of course Greek. Performances begin at 6pm.
You're not going to want to miss this incredible event, so remember Danforth Avenue between Broadview Avenue and Jones Avenue is closed to vehicles all weekend. Your best option will be to travel via public transit. The four subway stations convenient to the event are Broadview, Chester, Pape, and Donlands. There are also LRT stations along Broadview Avenue.
